Oh what a week!

Just so everyone knows, all four of us came down with the flu this week. Yup, it was a blast let me tell you. Jim got it on Monday, I got it Wednesday, Charlie Thursday, and Chris Friday. Jim and Charlie both went to the doc. They just told Jim he had a viral flu and they weren't going to test because he was on the downhill side of it. Charlie went in on Thursday cause his temp was 101.8. They tested him. They said it was Influenza A/H1N1. They said the H1N1 is a strain of Type A. But we are all on the mend. Just napping a ton because it wipes out your system. So now I am a week behind in my housework. Today I have some energy so I am bleaching and Lysoling the house like a mad woman! We are having a Halloween party so got to make sure no one else gets it! I will post pics of Halloween! Hope everyone is well!

What a crazy life we live!!!

I tell you what, it seems life the life of the Compton family just keeps going! We spent a weekend in Bozeman with my big brother. We had such a great time! Our boys just love their Uncle Chris and boy does he love them! We went down to Yellowstone for the day. This was the first time for me and my kiddos. We had such a great time! However, we did not get to see Old Faithful. I was little bummed by that. But the park had three road closures. This is why were unable to see Old Faithful. We got to see several elk. Little Chris even managed to piss off a Bull Elk. Chris bugled at the bull, and he got pretty upset and started rounding up the cows. Then the bull started rubbing his antlers against a tree because Chris got him so mad! We spent the entire day driving around the north end of the park. It was beautiful! The next day we went to The Museuem of the Rockies. None of us had ever been there. It was quite fascinating. Little Chris thought the dinasours were going to come alive like the move Night at the Museuem. So he was a little afraid at first. We then came home on Sunday to find that my great grandmother had fallen ill. She passed away on Monday. She was 94 years old and lead a good life. She was a wonderful person and she will be missed. Christopher and Charlie brought some sunshine into a dark time. These little boys are such a precious gift. I am glad that I had them there. They truely can light up a room. The boys got to meet/see their great aunt and uncles, and some of their cousins. We had a great family dinner together and toasted to grandma's life. It was good way to honor her memory. May she rest in peace!
